Job Description:
The Reunion Giving Officer will develop, plan, and implement fundraising campaigns and related events for assigned undergraduate alumni classes celebrating quinquennial Reunions. The Reunion Giving Officer will set fundraising goals, recruit and develop volunteers, identify high potential donors, help solicit major gifts, solicit gifts for the recognition society of Carrie Tower, and engage alumni in fundraising for the Brown Annual Fund. The incumbent will also serve as the secondary supervisor of an associate, providing guidance and feedback and supporting professional development.

Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum four years related experience in a related field such as development, higher education, nonprofits, fundraising, marketing, sales, volunteer management, customer relations, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to identify/solicit/cultivate/steward volunteers, donors, and/or prospects with the potential to give $10,000+.
- Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate with a varied University constituency.
- Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, and word processing applications (Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred), along with demonstrated comfort in dealing with calendar programs and the Internet.
- Proficiency with social media and emerging technologies.

- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy; Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
