The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) invites applications for a tenure-track position, at the early assistant professor level in Mathematics, in particular, in the areas of Analysis, Geometry, or Number Theory. The position will begin on July 1, 2025. The successful candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D. by the time of the appointment.

The successful applicant will teach mathematics courses offered by the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The teaching load is two courses per semester. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to maintain an independent, active, high quality research program and the highest standards of excellence in teaching.

Approximate salary range:
$95,000 – $105,000
