Job Summary:
The Department of Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University is seeking a 9-month, non tenure-track Assistant College Lecturer of Health Care Management position beginning August 17, 2026.
Duties include teaching 24 credit hours (onsite, off-site, and online) per academic year at the Undergraduate and/or Graduate levels and participating in department and college service activities.
The MGT department employs 17 full-time faculty and offers coursework at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. Our department is housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business. The college employs 75 full-time faculty members. All programs are AACSB accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Enrollment is approximately 3,000 students, and the degrees we offer include: DBA, MCIS, MBA, MHRM, MAcc, BSCIS, and BBA.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a closely related field to Business or Healthcare;
- Field experience in Healthcare Management;
- Prior experience teaching higher education courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Terminal degree in a closely related field to Business, Public Health or Healthcare;
- Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives;
- Experience teaching Healthcare Management;
- Ability to teach in multiple areas of Management such as Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior;
- Effective communication skills;
- The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the academic community.
- Qualified to teach advanced courses.
