Job Summary
This Part-Time position assists in the recruitment and admission of study abroad participants. This position provides study abroad advice, program support, and study abroad event support. This is a grant-funded position through the grant end date of September 30, 2028.
- Support daily support workflow for the Study Abroad Student Journey: Inquiry, Advising, Application, Pre-Departure, While Abroad, and Re-Entry. ?
- Provide front-line student support by responding to study abroad inquiries via email, TerraDotta, and in-person or virtual meetings, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Support basic data tracking and reporting related to applications, participation, and student engagement to assist with outreach and program assessment.
- Assist with pre-departure and re-entry programming, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting workshops or orientations.
- Assist the team in maintaining program content on TerraDotta including updating program information on brochures and application instructions.
- Liaise with academic departments, operational offices, and non-academic offices (Ex. Registrar’s, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, academic advisors) to support study abroad student success.?
- Assist the development and implementation of office events such as the Study Abroad Fair, International Education Week, classroom presentations, and external office events.
- Other related duties as assigned.??
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., humanities, social sciences, education, communications, international studies, or related areas).
- One year of relevant experience, which may include graduate coursework, assistantships, internships, student employment, or professional experience.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication, written communication, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in supporting programs, events, or initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Study, internship, volunteer, or professional experience abroad or demonstrated intercultural experience through work with international populations.
- Interest in international education, study abroad, or global learning and a desire to grow professionally in the field.

The starting salary for this part-time position is $23,726.50 annually, based on the SCUPA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
This position may be eligible for a flexible hybrid work arrangement, permitting a combination of on-site and remote work, subject to applicable organizational policies, operational requirements, and supervisory approval.
