The Wilf Family Department of Politics is seeking outstanding and innovative scholars for a position in International Relations at the assistant professor level. The tenure-track position is to commence September 1, 2025, pending administrative and budgetary approval.

Qualifications
Candidates are expected to possess a PhD by September 2025 in political science or a cognate discipline; to have records of excellent research; and to indicate the potential to be future disciplinary leaders in their respective fields of expertise. Candidates should also have demonstrated ability as excellent teachers at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Pay Transparency Statement

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $95,000-$135,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
