Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position in the Department of Psychology (focusing on Neuroscience) at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, USA
We are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable and strong research experience in either behavioral neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience or related fields. It is expected that the successful candidate will complement the department’s research strength related to brain health, such as neurodevelopment, neurodegeneration, neuropharmacology, aging and cognition, and drug abuse, but we are open to any relevant area within neuroscience. Researchers using either human or animal models are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in psychology, neuroscience or related field (at time of job start)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of excellence in scholarship
- At least 1-2 years of postdoctoral or equivalent experience
- Teaching experience, especially with a diverse range of students
- Supervising and mentoring experience
- Grant writing experience
