The Department of Psychological Science at Claremont McKenna College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the early Assistant Professor level focused on advanced quantitative methods in a sub-field of psychology (e.g., cognitive, clinical, developmental, organizational and/or social psychology).

The psychotherapist provides diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy and referrals to students in psychological distress.

A successful candidate will be expected to teach Introductory Psychology, Introduction to Psychobiology, The Psychology of Oppression, Elementary Statistics, Research Methods, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Critical Thinking in Psychology, and other Psychology classes.

The Lead Research Assistant will participate in data acquisition using behavioral, psychophysiological, and brain imaging techniques; subject recruitment and screening; management and analysis of datasets; and managing the lab and performing administrative duties for the Principal Investigator and IRB documentation.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the preparation of school psychologists-in-training enrolled in the Education Specialist School Psychology program at the graduate level.

The Director of the CMHC serves as the chief psychologist for the university and provides administrative supervision to a multidisciplinary staff of mental health practitioners, including psychologists and masters level clinicians.
