As a member of the NAGAP, The Associate for Graduate Enrollment, Dr. Wright held several positions with the organization prior to her new presidential election. She previously served as conference chair and vice president.

Dr. Nasim has spent the past 15 years with Virginia Commonwealth University, currently serving as vice president and senior advisor to the president, as well as a full professor of psychology and African American studies.

Garrett Green was appointed chief diversity officer at Augusta University in Georgia. Nicole Joseph has been named associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion for Peabody College at Vanderbilt University and Chemen Neal is the chief diversity officer for the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Three African American Scholars With New Faculty Assignments
Seretha Williams was appointed chair of the department of English and world languages at Augusta University in Georgia. Randle Pollard will teach at the law school at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and Robert Linton, II has been selected as chief medical officer at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
