Dr. Phillips joined the National Louis University administration in 2021 as vice provost of academic programs and accreditation. One year later, he became the university's first Black provost and vice president of academic affairs. Now, he is slated to become the university's first Black president on August 1.
With over 25 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Scott comes to his new role from National Louis University in Chicago, where he has been serving as vice president of undergraduate education and dean of the Undergraduate College.
Dr. Cooper Whitehead brings extensive experience in student affairs and academic leadership to her new role. She comes to Regis University from Boston College, where she has served as vice president of student affairs since 2021.
Currently, Dr. Berry is a professor and chair of the department of African American studies at San Jose State University in California. Prior to joining San Jose State University, Berry served in various leadership roles at the University of Texas in San Antonio.
