Previous studies have found a significant share of Black adults do not trust the American criminal justice system. A new study from scholars at the University at Buffalo and SUNY Fredonia has found that Black students have a similar mistrust of campus police.
The National Association of Social Workers honored Rolanda Ward for her service to underserved and oppressed communities. She currently serves as director of the Rose Bente Lee Ostapenko Center for Race, Equity, and Mission at Niagara University.

Griffin at Emory University in Atlanta, Vicki T. Sapp at SUNY-Fredonia, and Teresa Ramey at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
Since April 1, 2017, Dr. Kolison has served as executive vice president and provost for the University of Indianapolis. From 2008 to 2017, he served in the administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
