Tony Gaskew was promoted to associate professor of criminal justice and granted tenure at the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford. Dr. Gaskew was also named director of the criminal justice program and serves as coordinator of criminal forensic studies.

Dr. Gaskew earned his Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Nwadiuto Esiobu, an associate professor of biological sciences at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, has been named a Jefferson Science Fellow by the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Esiobu will spend the 2011-12 academic year in Washington as the lead scientific officer for the State Department’s Global Food Security Initiative.

Dr. Esiobu holds a Ph.D. from the University of Louvain in Belgium.
