North Dakota State Partners With African University to Offer Joint Master’s Degree

North Dakota State University and Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, will be offering a joint master of science degree in infectious disease management and biosecurity. The names of both universities will appear on the degree certificate.

Students can enroll at either university and study abroad at the other. The first class of eight students includes four from Uganda, one from Ethiopia, and three from the United States. The program is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
