Tamara Holmes Brothers to Lead Advisory Board at the Hampton University Museum

Tamara Holmes Brothers, director of corporate and foundation relations at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, was named president of the advisory board of the Hampton University Museum in Virginia.

Brothers is a graduate of Hampton University and worked at the museum while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in art. She went on to earn a master’s degree in sport management from West Virginia University and a certificate in historic preservation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is currently conducting research on architecture and preservation programs at historically Black colleges and universities in North Carolina.
