Lincoln University and the Abolitionist Map of America

Hosanna Church

Lincoln University in Pennsylvania has entered into a partnership with the PBS series American Experience regarding the Abolitionist Map of America. The interactive website offers visitors information on events, places, and people associated with the crusade to end slavery in the United States. The project coincides with the PBS series The Abolitionists, which will appear on Tuesdays in January.

The university itself and the nearby Hosanna Church, a stop on the Underground Railroad, are part of the map. An iPhone app will soon be available so that visitors can easily access the information on their smartphones.
