Jackson State University’s Edmund Merem Named Academic Editor of a Prestigious Journal

MeremEdmund C. Merem, a professor in the Urban and Regional Planning Program in the School of Public Policy and Planning at Jackson State University in Mississippi, was named academic editor of the Journal of Advances in Research.

Professor Merem is the author of Environmental Accounting for Oil and Natural Gas: A North American Case Study of Canada and the Southeast of the United States (Edwin Mellen Press, 2010).

Professor Merem holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from York University in Ontario, Canada. He holds a second master’s degree from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome and a Ph.D. in urban and regional planning from Jackson State University.
