University of Nebraska Scholar Honored for Journalism Research

kiambiDane Kiambi, an assistant professor of public relations in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Nebraska, received the Best Paper Award for Journalism Research from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. He was honored for his paper, “Country Reputation Management: Developing a Scale for Measuring the Reputation of Four African Countries in the United States.”

A native of Kenya, Dr. Kiambi earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Miami University in Ohio. He holds a Ph.D. in mass communications from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
