Linda Scott Named Dean of the School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison

ScottLindaLinda Scott was chosen as the next dean of the School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, effective July 15. She is the associate dean for academic affairs at the School of Nursing of the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also serves as an associate professor of health systems science and director of graduate studies.

Before joining the faculty at the University of Illinois, Dr. Scott was a professor of nursing and associate dean for graduate programs at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.

Dr. Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University. She holds a master’s degree in nursing administration from Grand Valley State University and a Ph.D. in nursing health care systems from the University of Michigan.
