Marlin Nabors Named Dean of Students at the University of Pittsburgh

Marlin Nabors has been appointed associate vice provost and dean of students at the University of Pittsburgh. His position is effective January 2.

Nabors brings over two decades of higher education experience to his new role, having previously held several positions in student services, counseling, and residence life. For the past four years, he has served as the associate vice president and dean of students at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Endicott College staff, he was the associate director of housing and residential life at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

A first-generation college graduate, Nabors received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and sociology from Central Michigan University and his master’s degree in the cultural foundations of education from Syracuse University in New York.
