Historically Black Coppin State University in Baltimore, has recently established a new transfer agreement with California Community Colleges.
The Expand Eagle Nation program will allow students who have received an associate’s degree from a community college within the CCC system to seamlessly transfer to Coppin State University and pay Maryland’s in-state tuition while completing their bachelor’s degrees.
“We are excited to join forces with the California Community Colleges and welcome students from California to Eagle Nation,” said Coppin State University President Anthony L. Jenkins. “Students out of state will now have the opportunity to experience our nationally ranked programs from healthcare, STEM, social sciences, and business.”
California is one of the 40 U.S. states and territories covered by the Expand Eagle Nation initiative, which aims to provide students from areas with limited access to historically Black colleges and universities with the opportunity to pursue an education at Coppin State.
