Grambling State University President Martin Lemelle has recently announced a series of objectives that the historically Black university will focus on over the course of 2025.
In a letter to the campus community, President Lemelle outlined five key institutional priorities: defining and elevating Grambling State’s value; strengthening financial stability; enhancing the campus experience; elevating recruitment through technology; and supporting student success and satisfaction. The HBCU plans to achieve these goals through establishing strategic partnerships with external organizations, conducting data-driven internal analyses, and acquiring new administrative and academic technology.
“Whether you are a student striving for success, a faculty or staff member shaping our future, an alum championing our legacy, or a board member guiding our vision — your role is invaluable in advancing our shared mission,” said President Lemelle.
He continued, “As we move forward, I want to emphasize that these priorities are not just institutional goals — they are a shared commitment. Everyone plays a role in the continued success of Grambling State University.”
Dr. Lemelle is currently in his second year as president of Grambling State. His full announcement can be read here.
