Florida A&M University Establishes Transfer Agreement with North Florida College

North Florida College has become the latest partner institution to join Florida A&M University’s Ignite Transfer Program, an initiative that provides students who attend a Florida College System institution with guaranteed general admission to FAMU after completion of an associate’s degree.

Currently, the Ignite program includes 19 partner community colleges throughout the state of Florida, making North Florida College the twentieth school to provide its students with a seamless pathway to a bachelor’s degree at Florida’s largest historically Black university.

To enroll, students must be in good academic standing at their current Florida College System institution. After submitting an Ignite enrollment form, students are contacted by an enrollment specialist who will guide them through the admissions process. Additionally, Ignite students have the opportunity to receive the Florida Community College Ignite Scholarship, a merit scholarship that provides financial support to students as they complete their bachelor’s degrees.
