Stephen W. Fusi was appointed chief brand officer at North Carolina Central University in Durham. In this role, he will be responsible for creating and enhancing the university’s brand as a visual image, a clear message, and a promise of a consistent learning experience. Fusi was the managing director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Fusi obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Christina K. Brogdon has been selected as Michigan State University’s first vice president of human resources and chief human resources officer, effective June 1. Most recently, Brogdon served as vice chancellor for human resources at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Prior to that role, she served as chief human resources officer at the University of West Georgia, Radford University in Virginia, and Bluefield State College in West Virginia.
Brogdon is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she majored in management. She holds an MBA from Averett University in Danville, Virginia.
Christine Lovely was named interim vice chancellor for budget and institutional analysis, finance, university resources, human resources, and administrative IT and business transformation at the University of California, Davis. She has been serving as chief human resources officer at the university.
Loverly is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She earned a juris doctorate at the University of California, Davis.

Clinton earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at South Carolina State University and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Webster University in Missouri.

Dr. Baldwin received a bachelor’s degree in biology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She holds a master’s degree in administration and supervision and a doctoral degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Chief Fletcher holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in human services counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He earned a master of public safety administration degree from Columbus State University in Georgia.

Freeman-Patton earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She later received a master’s degree in sports administration from Georgia State University.
