The Board of Trustees at the University of St. Francis (USF) announces the national search for President. The University of St. Francis is a private, Catholic university founded in 1920 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, 40 miles southwest from Chicago in Joliet, IL. USF seeks an exceptional individual able to provide the bold, collaborative, and innovative leadership needed to meet the challenges of a rapidly-changing higher education environment.
Across its three campuses in Joliet, USF is a welcoming community of learners with a vision to transform students into leaders inspired by Franciscan values of respect, integrity, service and compassion. USF’s 3,185 students benefit from the University being a small, high-touch institution, able to give students one-on-one attention, and from a robust student life and diverse student body. USF has recently been named a Hispanic Serving Institutuion (HSI), a reflection of the diversity of the student body, and is known for high levels of student success. The University is comprised of four major academic units, the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS), the College of Business & Health Administration (COBHA), the College of Education (COE), and the Leach College of Nursing (LCON). A pioneer in online learning, USF offers bachelor’s, degree completion, master’s, doctoral and certificate programs in a variety of delivery formats.
