Millikin University invites nominations and applications for an accomplished mission-oriented leader to serve as its next President.
Located in Decatur, Illinois, Millikin University is a residential, private, comprehensive university with a diverse student population of approximately 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students. Millikin offers over 50 baccalaureate degree programs, three master’s programs, a variety of certificates and doctoral degrees in nursing practice. Long known for academic excellence and a commitment to Performance Learning, Millikin prepares students for professional success, democratic citizenship in a global environment and a personal life of meaning and value.
The next President of Millikin will embrace the University’s mission and values and be a dynamic, inspiring and collaborative leader with an advanced degree and an astute understanding of the challenges facing private institutions. Among other attributes, the President will evidence strength in strategic planning, marketing and enrollment, fund development, financial planning and community leadership.
Applications, Nominations and Expressions of Interest
To assure full consideration, applications should be received by January 6, 2025 and must include the following:
- A letter of interest addressing the leadership opportunities and attributes identified the search profile;
- A curriculum vitae; and
- List of five professional references with email addresses and telephone numbers, including their relationship to the candidate. References will not be contacted without prior authorization from the candidate.
