North Carolina Central University Enters Dual Enrollment Partnership With Community College

NCCU LogoHistorically Black North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham has entered into a partnership agreement with Durham Technical Community College. The new Eagle Connect Program allows students enrolled at Durham Tech to live on the NCCU campus during their first two years of study. The Durham Tech campus is only a half mile away from NCCU. This allows the Durham Tech students to utilize all university facilities and take part in campus life. Once the Durham Tech students successfully complete their associate’s degree, they can transfer full-time to NCCU.

Under the agreement NCCU will provide academic advising and student support services for students in the Eagle Connect Program.

Durham Technical Community College enrolls more than 5,000 students. Blacks make up 44 percent of the student body according to the latest Department of Education statistics.
