The University of Maryland Eastern Shore, the historically Black university in Princess Anne, has introduced a new smartphone app for members of the university community. The new app, available for both Apple and Android phones, may be downloaded for free. The easily recognizable rotunda of the university’s Student Services Center is used as the on-screen image for the new app.
The new app provides fingertip links to a faculty directory, a campus map, university social media platforms, the resources of the university’s library, and emergency contact information. University officials plan to upgrade the app so that students can register for classes, receive their grades, and view class schedules.
