Three African Americans in New Administrative Posts in Higher Education

Stephen  McDanielStephen L. McDaniel was promoted to vice president for institutional advancement at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore in Princess Anne. He joined the staff at the university in 2013. Previously, he held fundraising posts at Norfolk State University in Virginia and the United Negro College Fund.

McDaniel is a graduate of the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

AlemaCooperAlmeta E. Cooper is the new senior vice president and general counsel at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She was associate vice president for health sciences at the Wexner Medical Center of Ohio State University.

Cooper is a graduate of Wells College in Aurora, New York, where she majored in German. She earned a juris doctorate at the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago.

ken_ingeKennith Inge is the new web content coordinator at Fort Valley State University in Georgia. Since 2012, he has worked as a website consultant for YP Holdings.

Inge is a graduate of DeVry University, where he majored in project management. He holds a master’s degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University.
