Alabama State University Partners With Soongsil University in Korea

Alabama State University, the historically Black educational institution in Montgomery has entered into a partnership with Soongsil University in Seoul, South Korea.

boydGwendolyn Boyd, president of Alabama State University, said that “we are truly excited. This partnership will open up doors for many of our students and will expose them to research and educational opportunities abroad.”

Under the agreement, the two universities will offer student exchange and study abroad programs for students at the partner universities. There will also be research, lecture, and seminar opportunities for faculty members at the partner institutions. The two universities will hold joint conferences and symposia for professional and educational development.
