The University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, the historically Black educational institution in Princess Anne, has announced the establishment of master’s and doctoral programs in pharmaceutical sciences. The university has offered a pharmacy doctoral program since 2010. The new graduate programs will focus on pharmaceutical research. There will be two concentrations: drug design and discovery or drug delivery and pharmacology.
To be eligible for the new graduate programs, students must have obtained at least a 3.0 grade point average and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, engineering, molecular biology, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical science.
