MVSU-logoHistorically Black Mississippi Valley State University has announced that the department of fine arts will offer a new concentration for students majoring in music. Beginning this fall students will be able to pursue a bachelor’s degree in music with a concentration in sound recording technology.

The new concentration aims to prepare students for careers as recording technicians, mixing engineers, live sound recorders, recording studio entrepreneurs, and other entertainment industry occupations.
