The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam is pleased to invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Trumpet position starting in August 2025. Responsibilities include: teaching applied studio lessons and studio class; teaching trumpet techniques; teaching trumpet repertoire and pedagogy classes; directing Trumpet Ensemble and/or Brass Ensemble; recruitment of trumpet students; student advising, service, and continued professional engagement are expected as part of the position; and other courses as determined by the School of Music including those related to SUNY Potsdam’s General Education Program. This position may require teaching during evening/weekend hours, online, or at off-site locations.
