The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam invites applications for the full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Voice. The ideal candidate will be a vibrant, engaging, and dedicated artist-pedagogue with a clear history of dynamic musical performance and engaging teaching. Tenors, Baritones, Bass-Baritones, and Basses are preferred, but all voice types will be considered. This is a tenure-track position beginning in August 2025. Responsibilities may include: teaching applied voice to music majors and holding weekly studio class; courses in diction, vocal pedagogy, vocal repertoire, voice class for non-majors; stage directing opera and musical theater productions; other courses as determined by the School of Music including those related to SUNY Potsdam’s General Education Program. This position may require teaching during evening/weekend hours, online, or at off-site locations.
