The Executive Director of Human Resources oversees all aspects of human resources, including recruitment and retention, policy development, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, and HR technology integration.

Organizes, supervises, leads, and performs human resource services in the areas of employee recruitment, selection, employment, job classification and compensation, labor relations, risk management, record keeping, Board agenda, and human resources information systems.

Serves as a Human Resource Consultant delivering professional subject matter expertise; technical assistance; research; training development and delivery; recruitment and selection assistance; publication and timely maintenance of articles, bulletins, technical reports; and related human resource management activities to cities, city officials, and their staffs in assigned cities in the state of Tennessee.
