The Vice Dean of Education holds a pivotal role in the Dean’s leadership team and is a key partner in developing and executing the The Ohio State University College of Medicine's education strategy.

The main responsibilities will be to oversee the Master in Plant Health Management Program, including student recruitment, retention and professional growth, academic curricula, program growth and development, and to teach courses in plant health management at the graduate level.

The Head of Area Studies manages, supervises, and provides direction for a cohort of librarians who understand and can interpret the current landscape of new research methodologies and technologies to advance and deepen research support, and who can strategically advance teaching and learning initiatives aimed at student success.

The individual will teach courses in animal sciences with an emphasis on dairy cattle and veterinary related classes.
