Xavier University to Offer a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

xavierlaXavier University of Louisiana has entered into an agreement with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. The agreement calls for the establishment of a doctoral program in clinical psychology on the Xavier University campus in New Orleans in the fall of 2014. The program will be the first of its kind in the state of Louisiana and the only clinical psychology doctoral program in the city of New Orleans.

The five-year program will be managed by officials at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Students in the program will participate in extensive clinical training at outpatient clinics, hospitals, government agencies, and mental health centers.
