The Morehouse College Board of Trustees seeks an inspirational, innovative, and strategic leader to serve as the institution’s 13th president. Founded in 1867, Morehouse is a private liberal arts college with a distinguished legacy of developing Black male leaders who excel academically, lead with integrity, and create meaningful social impact.
The next president of Morehouse will assume leadership of an institution that has achieved significant momentum over the past seven years, with strengthened finances, record enrollment, and growing national prominence. This is a call for a leader equipped to advance an ambitious vision for the future of the College, cultivate substantial investments to realize that vision, enhance the operational and academic enterprise of an exemplary liberal arts institution, and continue Morehouse’s renowned tradition of producing academically exceptional, morally grounded, and service-oriented leaders for a rapidly evolving world.
