The Director of Equity Compliance Education will bring both a deep understanding of Title VI, Title VII, Title IX and ADA/504 compliance legal requirements and practice especially in a Higher Education context.

Through collaborations across the broader university, the Director of Emory First is tasked with the alignment of university efforts to assist with the matriculation of first-generation and low-and-limited income students.

The VPCB is anticipated to manage the following established departments/administrators: TRIO college preparation and access programs (Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound); The Glenn and Myretta Taylor Center for Equity and Inclusion; Posse Foundation; Title IX/Section 504; and Bias Reporting.

EOPS is a student support program designed to go above and beyond, providing equitable access and support services to students who face social and economic barriers in higher education.

The Associate Vice President for Institutional Equity, Accessibility and Compliance has direct oversight of and responsibility for compliance with University policies and procedures, as well as and with federal, state and local laws related to discrimination and harassment, sexual and gender-based harassment and violence (Title IX), and disabilities resources and accommodations.

Program Specialist supports SMU College Access Programs at Southern Methodist University by managing financial records and processing financial transactions.

Playing a key role on The Impact Center for Community, Equity, and Understanding team, the Assistant/Associate Director for Student Support & Belonging provides ongoing outreach and programming to help support the success, retention, wellness, and sense of belonging of first-generation, limited-income students – those who are the first in their families to attend a four-year college in the U.S. and/or who come from limited-income households.

The Director of Library Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion reports directly to the University Librarian, providing content knowledge, professional expertise, strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and collaborative guidance for advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the Library and with University-wide impact.
