Assistant Vice President: Student Financial Services
The AVP is responsible for leadership of the University’s office of student financial services, including oversight of staff development, operational and strategic planning, financial aid packaging, compliance, disbursement, funds management, and stewardship, and the delivery of outstanding financial services for students and families.
Director of The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
The Director will shape the vision, guide operational efficiency, develop and support staff, and implement policies that enable the University to achieve its broader goals of promoting student enrollment, persistence, and completion.
Financial Assistance Counselor / Senior Financial Assistance Counselor
This professional staff member counsels students and parents about financial aid programs, application procedures, and eligibility, and assists with problem resolution; serves as a resource and a liaison to Miami's One-Stop staff and management; uses technical knowledge of federal and state student aid programs to ensure compliance and accuracy; determines and verifies student eligibility for financial assistance; and assists with outreach activities.
