The Supervisor of Lockshop & Structural Trades supervises repair and maintenance activities pertaining to, and the staff associated with, the structural trades division; including locksmiths, structural and carpentry trades, painting, masonry, plastering, roofing, glazing, etc.

Plans, prioritizes, assigns, reviews, and participates with a team of Groundskeepers in providing grounds, sports field, and landscape maintenance.

The purpose of the Supervisor of Structural Trades is to supervise all day-to-day activities, staff, inventory, contractors, and minor projects associated with the structural trades.

Maintenance and Operation Supervisor plans, organizes, and supervises the maintenance and repair of all assigned college buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Areas of work include planning for all facets of the campus and built environment, including strategic and long-term planning, stewardship of existing buildings, use and analysis of space data, project initiation and planning, landscape planning, guideline and standards development, program and preliminary design review, and compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.

In this role, you will lead a dynamic and diverse team that seeks to provide safe, attractive, and well-functioning facilities.

Perform skilled heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) work and assist with skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work on campus buildings and equipment.

These temporary summer-only positions involve performing painting and various painting duties. Work assignments are designed to further develop the required painting knowledge and skills.
