Senior Application Administrator, Public Safety Applications

This position directly supports the technology needs of Brown University’s Department of Public Safety, a sworn, fully-functioning law enforcement agency operating 24/7 to protect and serve the Brown community.  

Captain

The Captain reports directly to the Deputy Chief and assumes the duties of the Deputy Chief and VP for Public Safety and Emergency Management in their absence.

Police Communications Assistant Manager

This position has primary responsibility for managing the staff and the day-to-day operations of Brown University’s Communication Control Center, a critical 24/7/365 facility that receives all emergency and non-emergency calls for service on the Brown campus.

Police Inspector

The Brown University Department of Public Safety is a dually accredited (CALEA and RIPAC) department that provides the overall safety and security of the campus community.  Situated physically within the Department of Public Safety, the BUDPS has an immediate need for an outstanding individual to serve as Police Inspector of the Police Accountability and Community Compliance Bureau. 

Training and Talent Development Manager

The manager oversees development of all internal education, training, and professional development programs, policies and procedures, and provide data driven decision support and recommendations to the Police Inspector of the Office of Professional Accountability and Community Compliance Bureau.
