The successful candidate will have interdisciplinary expertise in Jewish Studies suitable for a tenure-track appointment in one of the following academic departments: English, Modern Languages and Comparative Literatures, Philosophy, or Sociology and Anthropology; and affiliation with the Wasserman Jewish Studies Center, including with its newly established Antisemitism Studies Lab.

The selected candidate will be responsible for serving as an attending physician providing clinical coverage at Eastern Long Island Hospital emergency medicine; teaching and supervising residents and medical students.

Reporting to the Chair of the Natural Sciences Department, Deputy chair of Biology and Chief College Laboratory Technician, the College Laboratory Technicians (CLT) will provide technical support for undergraduate courses and for research by designated faculty where appropriate.
