The Director of Education in the Department of Medicine (“the Department” or “DOM”) reports directly to the Vice Chair of Finance and Administration, and will work with the Vice Chair of Education and other departmental leaders to oversee and promote the educational mission of the Department.

This position works with the Director of Admissions to create, conduct, and manage The Evergreen State College’s student recruitment plan and efforts in collaboration with staff and faculty.

This position reports to the Facilities Services Manager with dotted line responsibility to the Director of Residential and Dining (RAD) Services and serves as a member of Facilities Services and RAD leadership teams.

Possible areas of focus include art and data visualization, AI and ethics, computational social science, data science, media and visualization, quantitative literacy, critical creative data literacy, statistics, and environmental and geographic visualization.
